England qualifies for Euro 2020!

Last Thursday, England was one of the first countries to qualify for the Euro 2020. Group A winner ended first with 21 points out of 8 matches.

Wales have also qualified for the Euro 2020. With Gareth Bale as an architect, they won the match against Hungary and therefore ended second place in Group E, with 14 points.


Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland will have a second chance of qualifying for the Euro 2020 through the play-offs of the Uefa Nations League.

The Euro 2020 draw will take place in Bucharest on 30 November


There are four places for the Euro 2020 yet to be filled. Play-offs through the Uefa Nations League will be played between Belarus, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Georgia, Hungary, Iceland, Israel, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Norway, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Romania, Scotland, Serbia and Slovakia.

Play-offs will take place on 26 and 31 March 2020.
