The last FA Cup draw took place 2 December. All remaining clubs from the previous 8 (!) rounds, were jumbled up together with the new entrants from the two highest tiers. The random draw resulted in 32 new fixtures, played from 4 January till 6 January. This also resulted in an extra Merseyside derby for 2020: Everton and Liverpool will face each other again this Sunday, 5 January. Manchester United will have to compete against Wolverhampton Wanderers. The last three times that United played against the Wolves, they didn’t manage to win.

Manchester City received a much more favourable draw, and will play against Football League Two club Port Vale.

Leicester City, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal will all be playing against Championship clubs: Wigan Athletic FC, Nottingham Forest FC, Middlesbrough en Leeds United.
